Hi, I looked for answers for this and could not find one. The question is if a priestess or healing wand use their ability to allow the removal of a sleep token, would it still turn into a daze? A friend who was "judging" a match I was playing insisted this was the case, however as per the codex and the token itself it says that sleep turns into a daze when damaged. The friend argued that since there is nothing in either the codex or the rules saying the removal is exempt of turning the sleep into a daze that it must still turn to a daze. Also, he said the game creators intended this because, and I quote, "when you wake up, you feel dazed."
Thanks,
Charles

No Daze

Read rules with a lawyer mind. If it says "when damaged" it means when damaged. Not when removed, not when you touch it, not when you talk about it, but when damaged. So no daze in your case.

^^
Both correct
No Daze

In the same line of reasoning, if you use a spell or ability to remove Slam you also avoid ever being Dazed.
I'm not thinking of any other conditions that transform at the moment, but if there are any they probably work the same way. As always though, read the codex to be sure.

I thought so. Thanks. Just wanted to be sure! 8)
