Title: The Mage Wars Live Play
Post by: silverclawgrizzly on April 16, 2014, 02:10:40 PM
Hate being that guy but did anybody else who watched the video notice the Warlock short paid on Harmonize and Force Sword? She had the Ring of Curses played but treated it as an Enchanters Ring :o

Well, Tim and Carmen are new to the game, and mentioned that at the beginning of the game.  I made mistakes like that when I started playing too.  When I go back and look at my videos I cringe sometimes at the mistakes.  We all start spell casting somewhere :)

Agreed Toxziq, all true points there.

When I first started playing, we rolled initiative every round instead of passing it back and forth  (incidentally, it does make for an interesting game mode to try sometime.  very chaotic).   Also my first ever Blood Reaper was a Necropian Vampiress.

Im pretty sure its impossible to get a flawless, rules-perfect game within your first 20 or so matches.   Theres always SOMEthing that slips through the cracks.

My first few games we started with only our Channeling in Mana. HUGE difference when you have just 9 to start with in some cases.

We also treated fliers as being grounded until the beginning of next turn.

Wow, that's a cool idea, I am going to try that!  Do you roll before planning I presume?

Yeah, just re-rolled the dice every round instead of passing token before planning
