Hello, if my opponent have idol of pestilence in play during upkeep all my vine markers die?

Vine Markers are Conjurations, so they do not receive damage from the Idol.

Idol specifically states that it does damage to "living creatures" only, so no other type of living object receives damage.

I missed that. Where does it state that Vine Markers are Conjurations?

I thought Vine Markers were simply Markers with their own rules.
