If the push is against a passage blocked wall, you will cause a bash which is 3 unavoidable attack dice of damage. If it doesn't have the passage blocked trait, but has a passage attack, you would instead get to do the wall's attack after the surging wave. If the wall does not have either (fog bank) then no extra damage is done.

Would you need to pay 3 extra mana like you do with force push to push your opponent through a wall such as blood spine wall or no? I know this is an older thread but did not want to start a new topic when this one is on the topic my question is about.

Only if the push effect states extra cost to push through wall with passage attack.
