Hello, recently i saw several ilustrations of alternate cards Core set mages, i would like to know where i can find them. thanks.

There are no official alternate cards for the core set mages. Perhaps you're thinking of the alternate priest and beastmaster from the Conquest of Kumanjaro expansion. Those have different ability cards from their core counterparts, and are therefore new mages rather than just cards with alternate art.

I'm thinking of replacing the Warlock card with a picture of Julian Sands from the film Warlock.

Actually if i remember correctly there were Promo versions available at some conventions. They were given out to those who made purchases at the the Mage wars stands.
Also i received DvN Alternate art mages from my preorder.
