I have a very, for some players, stupid question, but because we are in an argue with a very good friend and we have invest many things in this particular game ( all expansions, accessories etc) I would like to ask this:
Can all mages play against its other (Beastmaster vs Necromancer) or only as the expansions’ title refer (Forcemaster Vs. Warlord)?

All mages can freely battle each other in any combinations you like.

Mirror matches are allowed. The DvN expansion even has two-sided Vine markers to help tell which Druid owns which Vine Marker.

Welcome to the forums! There's no such thing as a stupid question, but Baron is correct, any mage combinations may be used. The expansion mages do not have to play exclusively against one another.
