Title: MageWars in the Netherlands

Hi, would love to meet other players to play magewars.  I am based in Arnhem in The Netherlands and play at the local gamestore Avondtuur.  Any dutch or players in the area are welcome.

Small world! I'm from Arnhem as well. I bought the game at Spiel 2013 last week and I was at Avondtuur the other day (pre-ordering the new expansion, druid vs necro) and Wolter said he knew a Paul who was interested in playing. I guess you and that Paul are the same guy ;)

I just started playing and haven't moved on from the pre-constructed books yet but love the mechanics and tweaking aspects (I used to play Magic but gave that up, too big an investment in money and time to keep up).

I'm not sure how often you check this thread, but I'll see if we can get in touch through Avondtuur, as I'd be keen on meeting new players as well.

Great, now there is Wout and I playing but there is at least one other player of magewars in the arnhem area.  Come and join us and see who has the better mage.

Since it was released in Belgium (September 2012). I always play with a comrade, who also started the same date as me.
When did you start?

Hi Tim, nice to hear back from you.  We could speak Dutch but since the game is in English (no dutch version yet)  would be good to find perhaps students or anyone else in The Netherlands to play with. 

I got the game around march this year and have only played really in the last couple of months.  You can see our mail entry under dueling mages. 

Maybe in 2014 we can get some more  mages.

I do not have to game yet, but it seems interested. Maybe somebody here who would be able to give me a demo of the game.
