What is your main strategy for FM? Is it blitz, slow build, creatures, or a in between?
-
There is no such thing as general strategy....it depends on how the opponent reacts....against slower builds i will attack really fast....against swarm and beatdown i will try to gear up and hit them hard in the face after that
-
Ok then. How do you deal with flyers because I have found no good way to deal with them when their in swarms.
-
The promo Gravikar will help solve the flyer problem that the Forcemaster can encounter. Hopefully it will be available to everyone soon
-
What does it do?
-
Its a conjuration that makes creatures (i think within 2 zones of it) lose flying and unable to gain it.
-
for now you can use Force Bash, Knockdown or bind an attack spell to the Thoughtspores....they all have the slam condition which make fliers loose the flying ability...you can also Charm them, put them to Sleep or Mind Control them...the Forcemaster has a few options available in her arsenal.....

This is my revised list. I took out a Dancing Scimitar, a Thoughtespore and the 2 Mana Crystals and I added 2 Hands of Bim-Shalla and 2 Evades...the results were incredible!!!! i intend to try the list as much as i can

When do you use Evade? Whenever I consider a situation where I might want to use Evade, it seems like Mongoose Agility is a better choice, particularly if you're mostly planning on using it on your mage.
-
I have both Mongoose Agility and Evade....if Mongoose Agility gets dispelled, Evade is my safety measure....yesterday it saved my life against the Beastmaster, when he dispelled my Mongoose Agility and had a few guards to help him be protected
-
But wouldn't it have been better to just play another Mongoose Agility in that position? You get the benefit from Evade, but your opponent needs to remove it right away or you can completely ignore his guards for a prolonged period.
-
Scott as usual you are right...i have thought of that myself too, but unfortunately i use the other copies of Mongoose Agility in my other decks...thanks for pointing that out though....for a clever player, it is obvious that Mongoose Agility is far bettter than Evade

I merged the FM Builds into 1 thread
