I am thinking this could be quite a nasty combo. Cast Gorgon Archer and Archers Watchtower first round, round 2 cast Hawkeye on the GA, then wall her in. Keep my mage and other creatures under her watchful eye (within 2 zones). Let her deal out weakness tokens and mop up after the fact. You will need flying creatures (taken care of in the future with Gravikor) or two teleports (one in and one out). Deadeye inspired the idea and still might be a better choice.

One critical problem, the Gorgon is not a soldier and therefore cannot benefit from watch tower. Be a nasty combo if you could!

Dang missed the Soldier keyword!

Yeah, I was pondering how cool it would be to use a watch tower to throw spells over walls.... Oh well, i'm sure we will get access to indirect in the future some other way.

Whilst this one is a no go, you might try Eagle Wings on GA. A similar effect and makes her a real PITA to take down and a very good (if a little expensive) aerial defender capable of moving over those walls you mention.

I've been meaning to try Gorgon Archer with Eagle Wings, but my current Wizard build doesn't use Gorgon Archers, so I'm waiting until I have enough cards to build an Air Wizard in addition to my Earth Wizard.

I like it mainly because she doesn't have to land to attack and Flying works quite well with her 2 regen as a defence.

Yep, this works well... She can also fire into her own zone as long as she's flying.

Slightly off topic but a flying Galador, Protector of Straywood is some of the most fun you can have playing this game...something about a flying reindeer shooting lightnin out of its face at helpless ground creatures is just amazing.

Now we know why his name is Blitzen....

Is this really the case ? The rule only states :
Any ranged attack can always target a Flying creature in the same zone , even if the minimum range for that attack is greater than 0.
:-\

It's in the FAQ under flying. You can ignore the minimum range to shoot another target in the same zone with a ranged attack if either the target or the attacking creature (or both) have flying.

sdougla2 is correct a least the attacker or the creature being shot at must have flying.
