Title: Armor and spell damage

Does armor work against spells ? Like fireball, pillar of light, etc

I know it does not work against direct damage, unavoidable damage and crits but I'm wondering if it only works against physical attacks and not spells..

Armor applies as normal to spell damage as it would any other ranged attack.

Also, armor DOES apply to unavoidable damage.. defenses don't.
