Post by: barriecritzer on February 12, 2014, 09:39:55 PM
I originally bought the Necromancer vs Druid expansion to build a Necromancer, but once I read through the cards I decided to make a Druid instead. Now I have finally decided to build a Necromancer and here it is

1) Idol of Pestilence
1) deathlock
2) mana crystal
2) poison gas cloud
4) wall of bones
2) chains of agony
2) ghoul rot
2) mage bane
1) nullify
1) maim wings
2) block
2) reverse attack
2) bull endurance
2) bear strength
2) stumble
1) marked for death
1) plagued
2) dispel
1) dissolve
1) seeking dispel
2) knockdown
2) teleport
1) 1 piercing strike
1) perfect strike
2) zombie minion
2) venomous zombie
2) grey wraith
2) plague zombie
1) ravenous ghoul
1) devouring jelly
1) malacoda
2) mage wand

A force hold or two will help keep your opponent stuck in the gas cloud for longer (the stumbles will do that, too, but force holds are more permanent and will draw dispels, increasing the chance that your ghoul rots will stay in place).

I took your advice and removed 1 stumble and 1 knockdown and add 1 force hold

I am curious, why are you running 2 copies of bear strength and bull endurance?  They cannot be cast on non-living creatures so they will only work on your Necromancer or Malacoda.  Were they your intended targets for these spells?  If not, removing them will free up 8 spellbook points so you could add in some equipment like Cloak of Shadows and armor.

when I was putting together my spell book I forgot that they only work on living creatures, thanks for catching that
