Spellbook Design and Construction / COMPLETE Spell Lists
« on: April 16, 2013, 09:44:38 AM »
Hello guys,

is there "somewhere" a list containing ALL cards of MW (basic set + expansion) where you cannot only see the title of the card but also read the text, the abilities, the cost, the level, etc ... (so in fact everything that's on the card except the picture)?

We have such lists for AGOT and they are pretty handy when you make a deck.

Thanks in advance,

Günter

General Discussion / a last question from Belgium
« on: March 20, 2013, 06:04:26 AM »
Another question now that my doubts about the use of "Triplestrike-infinite defense" are gone.

The Beastmaster, the Warlord and the Warlock all have the "Battle skill" which gives them the equivalent of the trait "Melee +X" (X being "+1" in their case).

Now ... does this Battle skill works the same as a "Melee +X", meaning that you can only use it ONCE when using it for instance (as per the rules and the codex) in one and the same attack action that makes multiple attacks (strikes) against the same or different objects?

Isn't it possible to make - constantly - use in the rules/on the cards of the following terminology:  "attack action" and "attack/strike", so there is some less confusion?

General Discussion / use of "infinite defense"
« on: March 19, 2013, 03:50:16 PM »
Hello to all of you.

I already asked this on BGG and got answers to my question too!

But my wife and I still have a problem with the working of "infinite defense". The rules state that you can use it EVERY attack, instead of "once every round" like for the other defenses.

Now, if my opponent has "Triplestrike", how many times can I use my "infinite defense" then???
I think "one" time (I however can use it again later that SAME round for an attack from a different creature), my wife thinks every time.

Or can I indeed use it every strike my opponent does with his "Triplestrike trait"?

In the latter case I can use "infinite defense" always when an attack needs to be avoided, correct????

btw ... gratz with this fantastic game, my wife and I are addicted gamers (wargames, boardgames, cardgames) and play Magic: The Gathering since 1994 (though we stopped buying cards almost two years ago). When I compare Mage Wars to Magic (can they even be compared???) we both think Mage Wars is the top of the bill!
