So ran a demo for a new fan last night, and a very simple but good question came up I could not find the answer too.

I hit his Asp with Dazzle, Staggering it. It's a minor creature so now it can't take an action. It is effectively a "Stun" as per the main game by my understanding. It just never says this outright.

So if I attack the Staggered snake, can he use his Defense roll?
With a Stun he can't, but Stagger never explicitly says. I don't see why it wouldn't and make sense, but a clarification would be most welcome.

The wording on Stagger does not mention Defenses, so it doesn't affect them at all. It only does what it says it does and nothing more.

Quick search shows that [mwcard=MW1I22]Resurrection[/mwcard] is the only out of school Holy spell for the Paladin on the Card Database.

So that middle aura grants melee +1 and piercing +2 to the paladin while its counterpart only gives the armor to creatures? Seems a pretty obvious choice for most games.

Resolute  Aura also gives Tough -2 to all friendly living creatures in the Paladin's zone. For the Paladin himself, it only gives a Tough -2, but for everyone else it gives both Tough -2 AND Armor +2.

Edit: Oh, I misread your post. You do understand that and just think it's weak.

So for the playtesters, how fast were you getting Valor and activating Auras? With what's already been spoiled, it looks like it would be three or four turns before even being able to activate Resolute/Vengeful.

Hmm .. [mwcard=MXSTX2FFJ02]Altar of Carnage[/mwcard] can be used to pump mana into the Banner, but would it be worth it? Maybe if you plopped them both down right before an offensive with a few soldiers that you can then turn into a blitz with two holy creatures? Oh! I just realized that the Paladin is the only mage who can use [mwcard=MXSTX2FFJ02]Altar of Carnage[/mwcard] to pump mana into [mwcard=MW1J23]Temple of Asyra[/mwcard].

u just hit entirelly my point halewijn,if i open with lair+harmonize i have 10 +3 mana....R2 i will prolly go for falcon(6-3=3)leaving me with 7 to cast enchanter's ring + mana flower. R3:10+3 it will prolly be something like deploy another falcon then another mana flower and an enchant on me..... it takes 3 turns to basically have "nothing" 12+3 mana and only 2 falcons.... while your opponent prolly has 3-4 armor and one big creature or 2....

A Lair and two Flowers is a really slow opening for a Beastmaster, I'd go for only one of those things.  I guess depending on what your opponent does.

How was it being moved onto you in the first place? Just trying to make sure that it is clear of the Enchantment (ET) was being cast, and that it wasn't being moved after it was cast.

He had an ET and three curses already face down on a bat. Then when I got close enough to the bat, he revealed ET and moved the three curses to my mage.

I had a nullify on me and another nullify banked on Fellella with an ET on her as well.
Ok, that is what I originally thought, yes, [mwcard=MW1E29]Nullify[/mwcard] at that point is useless, as there is not a Counterspell Step when you are transfusing the Enchantments over.
That's even more dangerous than I had originally thought, then. Ouch.

Spitting Raptor, corrodes do slightly less damage than burn, but not that much and they do double duty by reducing armor abs effectively buffing everyone else's damage too. That and you save two mana on the summoning.
