I'm assuming walls affect your own creatures as well as enemy creatures, correct?
Also, re replacing walls with different walls, the rulebook says you have to destroy the old wall first. Can the mage who cast it simply remove it, or does he have to send his creatures to tear it down?

once its cast, its stuck there. And they apply to all creatures, even your own and yourself.

Interesting there is no 'unsummon' type spell in the game yet.
-
Would not bet there will be one, as that could be VERY powerful.
Maybe that powerful that it would unsettle the game.
-
There's a Banish spell that removes a creature for a few turns I think. Kinda expensive to cast though.

More unsettling than teleport? :)

Much.
Several Elite Creature books are built on having the extra 10 mana at the start of the game to summon something big. If it was unsummoned, their entire opening has been trashed, since it would be extremely difficult to resummon it. It would effectively eliminate that style of play from the game.

Makes sense.

@silverclawgrizzly: Expensive but nice to have against fatties like bear strengthened pet grizzly for example...^^
@Mrmt: What Aylin said nails it. ;)

Going back to the OP about Walls, I don't think Unsummon was meant to be aggressive tempo but more an Undo button.
I think Unsummon on controlled objects may be plausible...
