I think i remember reading somewhere either on the forum or rule book that when there is a timing issue it is whatever is worse for the mage is the way it happens.

It did thank you. So if the sleep spell was put on ur mage and had no spells to take i off than the other mage can build up until he is ready to stike w/a massive army since u cannot cast attack spell when ur mage has a sleep counter on him?
