I want to play [mwcard=FWC14]Sir Corazin, Blademaster[/mwcard] and give his doublestrike or sweeping attack the piercing trait.
I assume that [mwcard=MW1I19]Piercing Strike[/mwcard] only effects the first attack, while [mwcard=MWSTX2FFE06]Lion Savagery[/mwcard] effects both attacks. Is that correct?

Nope,
Piercing is for all attacks.
So, if you cast Piercing strike on a creature with sweeping or doublestrike, for both attacks it will have Piercing +1. It is because those two attacks are still part of ONE attack sequence. Melee +X doesnt apply for multiple (second, third etc.) strikes :)
-
Piercing Strike would only effect the next melee attack made. Lion's Savagery gives you piercing +1 and that will work on all attacks.
-
Wait, so it is for one Roll not for next attack sequence?
Oh noes :(
Sorry for giving a bad answer :)
-
It's okay. We forgive you :-D

It's because there's only 'attack' mentioned in the spell's text not 'attack action'.

There's a cool table somewhere that's nice and clear about what effects apply to what dice and for how long. Can't remember where it is, Kilamanjaro expansion rules sheet perhaps?

Rules supplement or complete codex. Either way it's available in download section.

Thanks @ all :)
That makes Lion Savagery a perfect enchantment for Corazin. If your target is in the same Zone, you get Piercing +1 for both attacks. If you have to move a zone first, you get a nice charge bonus 8)

Lion Savagery also works especially nicely on Cervere. You are not hindered and fast, so you can always move out of a zone and back in to get the charge bonus in addition to the piercing. You don't get doublestrike, but it's nice to always be guaranteed two extra dice, in addition to the piercing.
