Update: hey everyone, I've been sick for the past 3 days so I'm postponing the opening of the library. Not sure when but hopefully I can have it up in a couple days. Feel free to send me books now if youd like that way I can get them added to my list. Thanks for your patience.

Dear Mages of Etheria,

                Im proud to announce the grand re-opening of the Library of the White Spires.

   The library is going to be set up into three different sections. First will be the Legendary section, this will be filled with a list of tournament winning spellbooks. To be considered for this section the book must win at a major event (Con, Nationals, etc.) or be the winner of a tournament with a minimum of 16 (subject to change) players.

   The second section will be a librarian’s choice where people will be able to nominate books that are either Meta-changing, archetype creating, or good for beginners. Those books will be nominated by the community and the team of librarians will discuss and add books they feel fit for this section.

   The third section will be composed of user submitted books. This is called the commons. There will be a limit of one book per user for this section. This will be organized alphabetically and by mage, so it’s easy to navigate. Books can be changed once a month per user. You can pm me a link to your book and I will get it added. Users who submit books within a week of opening may be rewarded!

   A Domination part will also be added to each section of the thread. There will be an academy version, the library of Sistarra, in the academy spellbook construction thread. We are looking forward to getting everyone involved in this project so any discussion can be done on this thread. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to pm me and I will do my best to answer in a timely manner.

Opening day is this Saturday, so look out for it!

I played a game with it this morning ( lost to a swarm straywood) and made some changes to it, I will post the updated version later when I get off of work, this version is trying to do two things at once and it doesn't work. I dropped the thought spores and am going to do the dot/fatigue strategy instead. Also will change the opening for the fact that you are right so unless plan to defend the siphon turn 2 then I need to play it a bit more defensively

if siphon is destroyed on turn 3 they have probably invested more actions and mana to get rid of it plus thats 1-2 etheral spells not used on me or my minds eyes. by the time they have killed it i have thoughtspores out and another minds eye and will be hitting them with attack spells. on the other hand they dont deal with it and because im using the minds eyes and thought spores, im too far away for them to get too me.

mordoks is primarly swarm tech and it wont be cast but if i do psi-orb will pay for the upkeep on the thoughtspores.

i never build a book without purge (except warlord) because i have lost too many games due too not having it. and i will probably cut one tp for a couple force pushes and lesser tp.

I think that even if you reanimate an enemy creature, the opponent is technically still the owner of the card as it originally came from there spellbook, so you cannot sacrifice it.

I use the resplendent bow on the priest. Pretty sure it would work just as good for the paladin. I think the ivarium could work well although the differences should be noted and strategy changed accordingly depending on which you choose. The trade off is the peircing and the range 2 for light damage and the ability to hit stuff in the same zone as you. I've been considering the resplendent bow in my paladin for awhile just havent been able to try it yet.

You would have the same mana after you meditated on turn 3 so you could not cast a 5 mana cleric on turn three which is very important for the late temple of asyra ( having the option to pray twice on turn 4 or once in case you need to defend against aggression with Artemis).

So basically if I don't meditate turn one I couldn't drop 3 creatures on turn 3.

The problem doesn't lie in the amount of zone exclusives but moving to cast them. And out of the three games ive only cast metatron once. But o'well I gotta give the people what they want
