Title: A Call For Coders - OCTGN
Post by: Coshade on August 22, 2017, 04:39:55 PM
Hey there,

So we are looking for a coder for the OCTGN team. Currently Shark is our resident octgn updater, however he is going to be gone for a year doing career stuff! We are looking for someone that knows Python, or wants to learn to help keep OCTGN updated. If you are interested please contact me, Puddnhead or Shark.

I wish I could help but I'm gonna be too busy this semester I think. Maybe you should make it a multi person project so that multiple people share the work instead of having it all dumped on one person? I might be able to help with this every once in a rare while once I know how to use python, but I can't promise anything.

I could do some coding for OCTGN but only in a team because I don't have much time and I would like to work together with a more experienced coder. I already worked with Python and various other coding languages so learning to programm OCTGN should not be too hard for me.

Hi, An experienced python developer and MW fan here.

I'm not sure i'll be able to spend a lot of time developing for Octgn, but I can definitely do some code review and some code maintenance. I can PR some small fixes, but a comment I made on github was left unanswered, so I was wondering if PRs will be attended & merged.

Specifically, I think I can get nullify and Jinx to be automated relatively easily.

Hey there,

I know Shark being away is causing this to get a little blocked. I am hoping he can be around sometime to help move this forward. Thanks for everyone willing to help out!
