Just to let you all know, there appears to be an issue where the automation (phase and initiative token changing) stops working when a spectator joins the game. I will look into what could be causing this. For now, you can avoid this issue by selecting the "No Spectators" option when creating a game.
Update: I have made a fix for this issue and the new version should be available soon.

Just to update everyone, Eagle Eyed (not Winged) lettucemode spotted this issue and has implemented some code changes to work around the issue for now. I have updated the package and pushed it out. You will now down load version 1.4.1 the next time you start up OCTGN.
Thanks!

Thanks, I am busy tonight but can probably take a look tomorrow. Does the Deck Editor plugin or the in-game validator (or both) say this book is 150?

We have put out a couple of fixes for these issues, current version is 1.4.2.0. Make sure you have updated to that version and let me know if you are still having issues.

The deck editor calculates 150.
After loading the deck the in-game validator calculates 116.
Just in case 8)
I run OCTGN version : 3.1.129.298
I run Mage Wars version : 1.4.2.0
so it should be up to date.

@gw
Can you navigate to the folder with Octgn.Magewars.dll and right click on it and tell us what version number you are running? You should be running version 1.4.1.0 at this point.
-
Yes, that's correct. It's 1.4.1.0 when I check the .dll that way.
The OCTGN Games Manager tells me I have installed 1.4.2.0 when I check online.
Thx for the effort guys - not that I wouldn't be able to calculate stuff by hand, I just noticed a difference between its and my calculation ;D

I played yesterday and also experienced the change phase (Ctrl-down) issue.
Just saw you guys release a fix for this issue, will try out later and let you know if still experiencing this.

Hi Sike,
I installed the new version today and have been playing around with it. Great work on the update. Lots of nice features! This post is entirely about the multiplayer variant since that's all I've tested so far.
While I love the idea of building my own modular board, I can't help but go crazy that I can't see the zone backgrounds and arena boarders. My cards just feel lost and it takes me out of the game. I was thinking if we added a basic pure black card that's the size of a normal zone (~8"X7.5") we can quickly throw down the amount of zones we'd need. To make zones larger in case of a large battle we could just throw two zones right next to each other or slightly overlay it if we only need a third of it, for example.
This would also completely eliminate the need of a zone intersection tile since you could just leave a tiny space / line between zones and the natural yellow background would serve well to differentiate different zones.
My only concern with this approach is how easy it may be to accidentally drag a black background card instead of a playing card. Is there a way to lock cards after they've been placed? If so, then I feel this would be the most ideal solution.

Thanks for the feedback! This was a request by Imaginator, and I have been awaiting feedback from him. I can make the alt background something different. If I recall the original request, the idea was to give the table top as the alt board that way you could use the cards to build odd shaped arenas. Triangles etc...
