Large Card Art

Are Mage Wars artists allowed to post large versions of their art? I was looking for some pieces (Nightshade Lotus, Etherian Lifetree), but couldn't find them online in wallpaper size.

Ok, thanks. It must just be dependent on the artist uploading them somewhere instead of something nefarious. I was just confused because the Nightshade Lotus artist had uploaded art he did for Wizards of the Coast, but not Mage Wars.

Related question that I wondered about was how they acquired all the artwork for Mage Wars.  Are all these commissioned pieces or did they bulk buy a bunch of unused artwork through a third party aggregator? I don't even know if these exist for this specific purpose but the business sense in me tells me they do, or should.

One reason I thought the latter was because there is one artist (I won't name names) that I thought did pretty poor artwork for WOTC in early MTG days, still does artwork, but has shown improvement.  Their Mage Wars art looks pretty bad imo and reminded me of their early work from 15+ years ago.

I would guess commissioned. If you go to their facebook different artists have taken credit for their pieces. Personally I think the artwork in MW is top notch. Far above most artwork in games. There are better pieces than others, but as a whole this is a beautiful looking game.
