General Discussion / Basic decks for Core and FW
« on: February 16, 2016, 09:27:37 PM »
I was wondering if people had balanced (against each other) decks for all 6 classes in the core and FM vs W that could be made simultaneously.  Yes, I know that are provided decks but I've heard they aren't that balanced, especially the warlord.  Thanks.

General Discussion / Re: Community Card Construction: Concept Decision

Same here. I really like the poll method to bring the community creature alive.

This is the nightmare I like to see: https://www.google.se/search?q=nightmare&client=ms-android-google&prmd=ivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAWoVChMIu9qJ8tWNyAIVSZMsCh0RVgj7&biw=360&bih=511#tbm=isch&q=nightmare+fantasy+art&imgrc=WWWsj-Q1R_VXKM%3A
I hope you mean the thing in the background rather than the gunslinger.
I like it. some black-colored creature with eyes and mouths everywhere.

The gunslinger and the mouths are one and the same.  It's Alucard from Hellsing.

Similar to Ringkichard, I'm curious on what you would do against a skeleton necro who turtled with wall of bone and cloak of shadows.  It looks like the most trouble you had was against a mage who could block attack spells, and walls of bone do just that.  A huginn might be able to fly over, but a skeleton archer could shoot it down.  Congrats on your excellent performance in the tournament.

General Discussion / Re: Looking for players on OCTGN

I'll be on at about 9:00 EST tomorrow (friday).  Hopefully I'll see someone.  I've never used OCTGN before but I've watched some videos on how it works.

General Discussion / Looking for players on OCTGN

Hi, I'm a player who loves this game but very rarely gets to play, so I'm looking into OCTGN for a match.  I'm wondering if anyone would like to battle.  I'll be on at around 9:00 PM eastern standard time.

I'm using gate to hell with this.  The gate will stack even more +1 to melee onto my demons, and the opening can stack on burns.

Quick question:

Does the cantrip rune go away after the weapon is destroyed?  If so, that makes it sort of a one time cantrip instead of a real cantrip.

How did you find those cards?  Otto could probably let warlord be of of the better turtling mages, although his 9 channeling sets him back.  I thinks it's really funny how otto's attack is called maul.  I know it's the name of his weapon but the double meaning is nice.

I really like the point that we could play multiple construction yards.

It is epic so 1 per book

You can play yours and conquer the opponents for two.

Then you can double dip the bonuses!!!  Awesome!!!
The card is well priced.

What I like about this command is that it can be cast for free on an orc butcher with gurmesh's channeling or command ring discount.  In addition, it can be reused, via helm of command.  The butchers have a 4 dice attack, which isn't weak.  A free guard on them is powerful.

I think a new theme of the warlord is alternate between low cost commands and large cost spells like conquer or summoning thorg.

Finally!  A level 2 demon!  :)

This looks good.  With a +2 bloodthirsty boost, its quick attack is equivalent to a grizzly.  In addition, we also get some really nice artwork.  Good job AW!

Adding this to my gate to hell build ;)

I used it as the forcemaster the last time I played.  It's situational, but it allowed me to get past two guards, killing one, and hit the priestess.

I used destroy magic in a battle!!!  :o

It got agony, ghoul rot, and enfeeble off my forcemaster, and vampirism ad bear strength off the enemy warlock.

My guess for fireweaving is the alt warlock can take back all her curses if the target dies of burns.  Anyone else have a guess?
When a creature with a burn token die she can transfer one (or all?) burn token on another creaturr in the same zone.
I like this one.

Really good idea.  Might be too good though...  I feel like the warlock was designed to be good because of his duel training and high life, not his abilities.  I only use bloodreaper once a game at most, and curseweaving is not useful most of the time.  A warlock with good abilities would be strong.
