Title: LoS clarification

Do creatures that stand in the way between two mages affect line of sight?
For example if there is a Bitterwood Fox, in between the mage and myself,can I cast a fireball at the mage instead of the Bitterwood Fox?

Only things with the line of sight Blocked Icon, block LoS
