MACE: Operation Homefront Tournament.

On Saturday, November 12th in Charlotte NC I will be hosting a charity tournament to benefit Operation Homefront. This will be at the MACE gaming convention located at the University Hilton. We plan to run an event with not only some of the best players in Charlotte (including the2nd place Gen Con winner) but this year we are being joined once more by Biblofilter the 2016 Gen Con CHAMPION and he's bringing friends! Also for the first time I've decided to fully hand off my judge duties and compete!

Don't forget the Hoshi-Con champ should be there as well.

That is true and very important. Given that I'm heard from the 1st, 2nd, and 4th from Gen Con as well as the HoshiCon Champion and other notable names form the forums I'm expecting this to be a VERY competitive and fun tournament.

Got some prize support coming in for the tournament. Found a very nice line on some gorgeous artwork.

After talking with my local players and getting input from the outside community I've made sure that no one scheduled to compete in the Mace Championship I've come to a few conclusions:

1. Nobody has a problem with PvS being legal.
2. Most everyone competing has a copy.
3. Many of us want to use cards and or Mages from PvS.

Thus Paladin versus Siren WILL be legal for this event. I know of at least one Siren already being played in this event and one Paladin. They join the Straywood Beast Master, Priestess, and Skeletal Necromancer already confirmed.

This looks like a really cool event, can't make it myself but I would love to hear a tournament report especially with all the talent and PVS being legal!!

Oh yeah Mace is always a blast for Mage Wars. This being the conventions 25th anniversary should also make things even cooler. I'm entering my Straywood and can hopefully fend off whatever comes my way. A tournament report will most definitely be posted.
