Oooo choices! There are so many awesome promos available that don't exist in German (yet?), but my top three would probably be

Spiked Buckler (where was this originally available? I feel this is the rarest of all)
Gloves of Skill
Wall of Poison Gas

I agree with Gogolski that it would be so cool to be able to buy additional promos, e.g. the AW store promo pack.

Thanks for the warning! Indeed I overlooked the comment regarding the combo in the rules supplement. Perhaps in that case Animate Dead would be the better choice, even though it will cost you an extra full action. I still think it could work to cast Rise Again on enemy creatures early enough through Sectarus and have them return as zombies, starting a cascade with the Ziggurat or feeding them at the Sacrificial Altar.

While considering a Sectarus - Rise Again - combo, I was thinking about whether it could work to intentionally kill off your own Dark Pact Slayer Bloodreaper if he close to dying, and getting him back as a Zombie with Rise Again. Would it be possible to again make him your Bloodreaper in that case? I'd say yes as he's still a demon creature. Could even synergize with Ziggurat of Undeath then!

I read elsewhere that Arcane Wonders are planning to be there themselves in some form. Any more details available yet? Will we be able to buy English sets or are all sales done by the German distributor Pegasus as in the previous years?

There will be another tournament at FeenCon in Bonn on July 5th. Hope to see many people there!

Auch auf der FeenCon darf diesmal ein Mage-Wars-Turnier nicht fehlen! Die Teilnahme am Turnier ist kostenlos, natürlich gibt es wieder tolle Preise für die Sieger. Bitte nehmt neben eurem Zauberbuch auch eine ausgedruckte Zauberbuchliste mit. Die Liste wird durchgezählt und vor Ort mit dem Zauberbuch verglichen. Damit wir besser planen können, ist eine Voranmeldung an headjudge@magewars.de erwünscht.

DIE REGELN:

DATUM: Sonntag, 5. Juli 2015
ORT: Pegasus-Turnierfläche auf der Feencon
UHRZEIT: 10:30 Uhr (zur Zauberbuch-Kontrolle) bis ca. 17:00 Uhr. (Nach 10:30 Uhr werden die vorangemeldeten Plätze an Spieler vor Ort freigegeben.)
ZAUBERBUCH: Selbes Zauberbuch für das gesamte Turnier. 120 Punkte wie in Grundregeln beschrieben.
ERLAUBTE KARTEN UND MAGIER: Deutschsprachige und englischsprachige Karten aus dem Grundspiel und den Erweiterungen Machtmeisterin vs. Kriegsherr, Die Eroberung von Kumanjaro und Druidin vs. Nekromant. Promokarten nur, wenn bereits in einem dieser Sets erschienen.
ZEITLIMIT PRO SPIEL: 75 Minuten (aktuelle Runde wird fertig gespielt, sollte es keinen Sieger geben)
TURNIERSYSTEM: Schweizer System (jeder Teilnehmer spielt alle 3 Runden gegen möglichst gleich starke Gegner)
ANZAHL TURNIERRUNDEN: voraussichtlich 3

Should I win today I may also have timing problems for the semi-finals tomorrow. I probably won't be home before 6pm utc+2... For the future it would be better to announce the schedule a bit earlier.

I'd like to throw the idea of a single-player league out there again. I know this would work a lot better for me and would assume the same goes for quite a few spontaneous players out there.
