General Discussion / Wrong packing for spell tome 2 ):
« on: May 13, 2013, 07:20:09 AM »
I got spell tome 1 correct (Two decks of different sets)

But for spell tome 2 I got the two of the same decks ):

Amazon can exchange for free but the process of sending and receiving (aramex, shipping, etc)will cost MORE than buying a new one ):

So I'm thinking about buying a new one but I'm afraid I'll get the same problem ):

What do I do ? ):

Rules Discussion / If life enchantment is removed
« on: May 09, 2013, 06:58:24 AM »
Suppose you have 36 life and you currently at 34 health.

If, let's say bull endurance has been dispelled, your total life will go down to 32. Will you die ? or will the health move back down 4 points too ?

Thanks,

Does armor work against spells ? Like fireball, pillar of light, etc

I know it does not work against direct damage, unavoidable damage and crits but I'm wondering if it only works against physical attacks and not spells..

Thanks !

Correct me if I'm wrong but enchantments with same benefits don't stack right ?

For example, if you put two rhino hide on the same creature you won't get double the benefit.. and if you have two different enchantments with same benefits, then you get the one with the higher benefit.

Another question is what about effects that are not from enchantments... like if you are in a zone with tree of life, a highland unicorn and wearing the regrowth belt. Do the regenerate traits stack ?

Summary of thread: Just want to clear up on WHEN effects stack and when they do NOT.

Cheers,

Rules Discussion / Deliberately skipping your turn ?

Is it legal to deliberately skip your turn by not casting any spell you selected during the planning stage.... in an attempt to horde mana to cast something more expensive next round ?

Cheers,

Rules Discussion / Spell level question
« on: March 01, 2013, 04:16:59 PM »
Question about spell levels.

So I know spell levels are used to 'purchase' spells while creating spell book and to decide the mana cost of some spells. However, I have been wondering... do spell levels determine if they can affect a creature because of its level ?

For example, is a level 5 creature immune to level 3 negative enchantments and incantations ? Can you convert a mage (level 6 creature) into stone even though the spell is level 3 (I think it's level 3 :P)

many thanks !

Edit: Ok just noticed that turn to stone target says "non mage" :P   ....... but you guys get the idea. What about other spells.
