Title: Poison Gas Cloud, Electrify and flying creatures
Post by: teroks on February 02, 2013, 04:40:35 AM
Last I came up with the thing where I casted Poison Gas Could to one square. It hindered movements, but obviously it won' hinder flying creature movement (for example Falcon from Beatmaster)...so if falcon or raven (from Wizard's Familiar) stays in that square does it take any damage? As it is flying and don't attack any creature in that square.

About electrify...does it cause damage for flying creatures?

Then...one question from fast creature  movement. Is it allowed to move four squares, if it only moves and don't attack.

Flying creatures are not hindered by non-flying creatures and that's it.

Poison Gas Cloud states:
Quote
If a Living creature enters this zone, or starts its Action Phase in this zone, it may not take more than one move action this round.

1. It is not hindering - it is only simmilar effect. But nither Elusive nor Flying are preventing from it.
2. Falcon is Living creature - so it is affected by this effect.

Quote
Each Upkeep Phase all Living creatures in Poison Gas Cloud's zone receive 2 points of direct poison damage.

Again - it is not affected by any trait, exept of Living - so Falcon does take damage.

Electrify is Zone Attack - flyers are not immune to Zone Attacks - so yes - it damages flying creatures.

No.
From Rulebook:
Quote
Fast
This creature may take 2 Move Actions before taking a Quick Action.
It may take a maximum of 2 Move Actions during its Action Phase. If a
Fast creature gains the Slow trait, both traits are cancelled out. See “Fast
Creatures” on page 18.
