The new official Mage Wars FAQ should be up in a matter of minutes, available on our website!
Patrick Connor is posting it and will announce when complete.
Thanks everyone for your patience with this!

Excellent job, thanks

Thanks for FAQ - I've played so many nuances wrong :P
Few things:
1. Shouldn't FAQ be in FAQ section of the forum?
2. I can't copy text from FAQ file - not sure if it is file's issue or mine - after copy+paste text is copied mutiple times.
3. The example on top of the p. 6 is refering to "Magibind" - should be "Magebane"
-
also put it under "all about mage wars/faq" please

The FAQ was a good read. I've learned something new again.
Here are some typos I've encountered:
The source or target of the attack moves (e.g. by being Pushed or Teleported away), even if the move was to a location where the [strike]spell[/strike] attack was still in range.
These effects do not allow a creature to perform an action that would be otherwise forbidden, such as attacking a creature that would otherwise be an illegal target (for example attacking a creature when a different one is guarding, or [strike]a[/strike] attacking a Flying creature if the attacker is not flying).
The chance to miss is always rolled for at the end of the Declare Attack Step, or when the attack starts (if no Declare Attack Step).
If the Warlock had cast the spell and had paid the additional 3 mana, then the Reversed spell could push the Warlock through a wall without the Wizard having to pay any extra.
If the Priestess steals a Mage Wand with a Drain Life spell bound to it, she cannot [strike]use[/strike] cast that spell, because it is Dark Mage Only.

Great catches Hid, thanks!
I will add these to the FAQ, probably tonight, along with a few other player suggestions, and re-post.
-
Way to go Hid! I read though it twice and didn't see any grammar errors....I'm going to have to remember this day the next time I sign a contract!
-
Great gob on the new FAQ! I know you guys worked hard to put it together. That ought to cut down on the number of annoying questions I ask. ;)
-
Ha! Thanks Skytale. Keep the questions coming! :)
-
Awesome! Great work on the FAQ!

Who is it at the company that hates toner? Why is there a grey background on this document designed to drain my ink?
