Mage Wars Block formats:
http://forum.arcanewonders.com/index.php?topic=15270OCTGN apprentice mode is a preconstructed format created by Schwenkgott. Ability cards are used, Mages have 60 spellbook points and otherwise normal stats, and the Arena is 3x3 zones.
The current OCTGN apprentice mode uses the first twelve mages. When PvS comes out we won't be able to use its mages in OCTGN apprentice mode without changing all the other decks in the format.
My plan is to make smaller blocks for OCTGN apprentice mode, each with its own spellbooks. But there are quite a few spellbooks to make.
That's where you come in. If you have the skills and are up to the task, here is what you must do:
1. Choose one of these 6-book formats to design spellbooks for:
-Core + Forcemaster vs Warlord
-Core + Druid vs Necromancer
-Core + Forged in Fire
-Core + Conquest of Kumanjaro
Core + Paladin vs Siren (when it comes out)
2. Reply to this thread with the format you want to design spellbooks for.
3. Start designing spellbooks
4. Test your spellbooks with each other and edit the books until they're balanced.
5. Post your spellbooks together in the spellbook design section of the forums.
