It's an interesting question: "What's the represented difference between a spell with *and* between the schools, compared to a spell using *or*? Elemental Wand is Or; Adremelech is And.

I'm a sucker for questions about procedural representation.

AND is for me a collaboration, the spell needs both power to exist.

OR... it's a spell that could be created by both school and it's simpler to print only one card?

LvL 4 Dark OR LvL 4 Mind

We dont need creatures, that have split cost and never get played because the spellpoint investment is too heavy.

Disagree. It is a lot more appealing to make a diversed creature that hasn't been made before, and will be uses in more than one type of deck. The trick is to make it worth the SP. It is not easy, but a lot more fun.

we could price it as a level3 but build it as a level4, since no one gets it for 3sp.

I like that. How bad is that idea really? Which effects would be affected \ imbalanced? Regarding sleep it would be one less mana to cast right. Is that a game breaker?

Mind 2 + Dark 1?
Costs Forcemaster 4, Dark 5, normal 6, Holy 7. Or is that too easy for Forcemaster?
Shouldn't it cost 5 for Forcemaster? After all she pays triple for every non-mind creature spell.

As long as Mind is a part of the creatures school it is considered a Mind Creature.

something like the spider: one attack to make the prey sleep. one to bring it a nightmare!
... it must be expensive...

Exid, you understood me wrong even though I like your idea.

I just meant that changing the spell lvl just for the sake of making it cheap is not something I would want. Its unthematic to start and a lot of spells are based on the creatures level. Then its again a hard job to find out if it would create an extreme weakness or advantage. 3 mind plus 1 dark is only 5sb points for the fm.
2+2 is 6 sbp for fm and the dark mages.

Rouse the beast, sleep, quicksand, ... and maybe even a future card could make it unbalanced.

Becides, the troll is 2+1 and he is used a lot. Beastmasters, warlords druids and even priests that pay 6 sbp summon him.

I was hoping for a cheaper creature for the FM so he could carry more of them, he already has the best solo mage attack what he really misses is something that can handle level 3 creatures and not die in one round, the level 4 that was voted does meet that criterion but to run 4 of them now is between 20 and 24 spellbook points.  :( and :)

of course it's not interesting to create a creature that nobody would play, but i think it's better to create a creature that would perhaps open new ideas to somebody than one that "misses" to play fm like a beastmaster!
