Hey guys,
Does Wreck of the Viridian Lace grant melee +1 and ranged +1 to all pirate creatures in the same zone as WoVL or to all pirate creatures in the arena?
Thanks!

It is to the whole Arena. If a card doesn't specify limitations then there are none. This card's effect applies to "all pirate creatures" which means all pirate creatures, regardless of where they're at.

Thanks for the clarification Zuberi.

Any time ^_^
It's a great conjuration. Just wish we had more pirates to use it with.

I wish that we had more cards that used an Initiative mechanism. I would not mind cards that gave a bonus if their users did not have Initiative. I think that it would be awesome if the Druid could have a tree conjuration that gives all of her vines +1 Armor and +1 Piercing when she does not have Initiative or if the Priestess could have a temple conjuration that gives all of her angels +1 Armor and +1 Charge when she does not have Initiative.

I know this is getting a little off topic now, but I like the way the Siren specifically has initiative-based modifiers. It gives an ebb and flow feeling, much as the sea does. I would not like this to be applied to any other mage that has no meta-game reason for it.

+1
Agreed. I don't like taking mage specific abilities and making them available to other mages at a cost.

Just issues a sweet sticker for Zub on a quick and well written answer to the question.
