Hi
Please explain. Hydra have regenerate 2 as a trait. If it will be summoned as a zombie will this trait be valid?
The same for any fast creatur. Zombie have slow trait. So this will be removed yes?
-
Yes, the hydra still has regeneration.
Regeneration is treated as healing though.
And healing can only be applied to living objects.
This is also the reason why Dorseus can't heal zombies.
You're slightly wrong on the second one.
Neither the fast nor the slow are removed. Tge creature will have both traits. They effectively cancel each other out, but you don't lose a trait until it is specifically mentioned anywhere (Swamp/ZombieFrenzy/Victorian Griffin)
-
Okay i see.
So zombie hydra can heal it's dmg caused when it was moved from garveyard.
Well fast works as i thought. It will no loger be fas, but alos slow trait will be canceled
thanks :)

I think you missed a point. There is ONE, countem, one, zombie in this game that can heal itself at all, and nobody plays it. Anything raised with rise again or the like has finite life and CANNOT heal at all, in any way. So even though it doesn't lose the trait "regenerate 2" it still cannot recover any accrued damage ever.

AA crystal clear now

Theres a zombie with reconstruct ability? Which one is that again?
Zombies cant heal ever. Not sure what zombie you're talking about.

At least shaggoth-zora can grow and gain innate life that way ;)

Unstable zombie
-
regeneration is a healing effect. healing only works on living objects. that is why nonliving objects have a different way of getting "health" back. reassemble for skeletons. the aforementioned reconstruct for unstable zombie and devouring jelly as examples. and yes there are folks who play unstable zombie....

Incorrect. I have books with Unstable Zombie in.

Correction. Unstable zombie is so expensive for what it does and its life total that it's very rare to see. In fact in my whole octgn career I've never seen one on.

I put three or four in my zombie book. It's my second favorite zombie after the brute. (I don't play on Octgn.)

And Dave, i love ya buddy, but you should GET on octgn. Show us how those unstable zombies work out! Lol

+1 (except Venomous Zombie is my favorite)

My midrange Necro deck has 1x Unstable Zombie for versatility. It doesn't have the power of Brute, and mostly Venemous and Plague are better for their niches, but it does get some play.
That said, I have a much more aggressive Brute squad book, and a much more controlling book, which are both better overall books than the mid-range.
Unstable is not so bad that it's almost unplayable like many creatures, but it's not strong.

Yeah... I'll put in one Venomous or Plague Zombie for use as my eternal servant also... don't lose too many SBP's that way in a Necro matchup, and get essentially unlimited use of the poison type against others (though just one at a time).

I had at one point thought about running 2 unstable with warlords can with blood demon and vampire so everything can heal
