I like it but only 1 chest armor? Also, is cloak of shadow useful since you will be in melee anyway?

Tecnically there are two chest armors, [mwcard=mw1q05]Demonhide Armor[/mwcard] and [mwcard=mw1q06]Dragonscale Hauberk[/mwcard]. I didn't include extra [mwcard=mw1q06]Dragonscale Hauberk[/mwcard] because I wanted this to be build-able without any of the core spell tomes. As for [mwcard=DNQ01]Cloak of Shadows[/mwcard] that allows the book to play a completely different way if necessary. You're right , I don't know that it will get used every game, but the games were you break it out, it should be pretty stellar. Though mainly it's to combo with an [mwcard=mw1q08]Elemental Wand[/mwcard] with a [mwcard=mw1a04]Fireball[/mwcard] spellbound.

Good question. I think that you have to react to those two builds in fairly separate ways. For a Forcemaster, your best bet is to rely on your constant sources of damage like [mwcard=MW1E19]Ghoul Rot[/mwcard], [mwcard=MW1E24]Magebane[/mwcard], [mwcard=MW1E04]Chains of Agony[/mwcard], and [mwcard=MWSTX2FFQ01]Adramelech's Torment[/mwcard]. Those are solid damage without having to worry about her defense or [mwcard=FWE05]Forcefield[/mwcard]. Also spellbinding a [mwcard=MW1A06]Flameblast[/mwcard] to an [mwcard=MW1Q08]Elemental Wand[/mwcard] can be a strong play. However your going to want to presure them pretty hard before you do that, so that they are running lower on resources.

For an Anvil Throne Warlord, I think it's a bit trickier. I'm much more afraid of [mwcard=MWSTX2FFQ05]Harshforge Plate[/mwcard]. Once you have [mwcard=FWQ09]Sectarus, Dark Rune Sword[/mwcard] equipped, you know that you want to be attacking with one of your actions each round. This allows you to prepare a "just in case" spell. You know that you'll only be able to cast one of your spells, and so the other one should be a dissolve. Watch your mana carfully. You need to destroy [mwcard=MWSTX2FFQ05]Harshforge Plate[/mwcard] the minute it hits the table, and be prepared to pay at least 10 mana to do so. Also watch for face down enchantments, a surprise [mwcard=MWSTX1CKE01]Armor Ward[/mwcard] can really ruin your day. Then you need to be prepared to destroy it again. Other than that, I'd employ similar cards as you would on a forcemaster. Try to make the defense less impactful. Attack with your bloodreaper first. If they block that then you follow up with your own attack, that will play a curse on them.

So I played a version of a [mwcard=FWQ09]Sectarus, Dark Rune Sword[/mwcard] book yesterday with the inclusion of the Fireball Wand/Cloak combo and it was devastating.  My opponent immediately backed off once he saw the Rune Sword/[mwcard=MW1Q28]Ring of Curses[/mwcard] T1.  T2 Wand/Cloak let me keep pace with him without fear of retaliation and start popping [mwcard=MW1A04]Fireball[/mwcard]s which forced the issue and got him to move into sword range and a QC  [mwcard=MW1Q05]Demonhide Armor[/mwcard] punished him for trying to swarm me.  It was over pretty quickly.

I do think that books of this nature require a very quick assessment from your opponent. They have to anticipate what you're doing and adapt. If you don't quickly identify what you need to survive, you're probably in trouble.
