When an opp turn one a battle forge I run up and drop a couple fog banks to block los it cost 10 mana and 4 points in any spell book and just to see them go dadada I'll just walk through the wall and I say haha your right where I want u to be and a wall of thorns after I walk into your bf zone and push you out or if I'm playing my beloved FM I'll use thought spores and position you away from bf

Also note after you move it to your mage if the opponent tries to dispel it they do have to pay magebind cost

Teleport move the creature immediately into the zone without moving through any zones in between. Charge says that it gains the bonus if they make the attack immediately after the move action. My 2 cents is that if I teleported a creature (in the next FAQ it will dictate what a move action is thank you blue gremlin) that the charge isn't going to continue. Teleporting it is giving it a !move action! to teleport. But the creature still can attack since it has the fast trait. This whole problem could be solve if u move the creature away....

Although most people use channeling items asap I sometime use them later in the game to give me a need boost to my strategic advantage. Examples are if I'm a FM using solo mage with galvitar I would play a moon glow amulet to deter my opp from wanting to dissolve it knowing I channel 11 I can bring it back out immeadiatly

In practice (not theory) I have used a FM to success fully stop an opponent mage from using his battle forge 60% of the rounds we played...I will say I love piercing strike as it is an excellent solution to almost all armor problems. But the battle forge is a card like any other and it can be ignored and or bypassed. If a enemy mage keeps stacking armor I pray I roll crits. And if not then I use creatures with Pierceing trait. I understand not every book is compleatly  rounded against all eventuality s but I try my best to use my actions to kill the enemy mage....right now I favor FM and she is pretty good at handling armor. But so is dark pact, and grizzly

I try to not run any counter cards. I instead choose to use all my actions to kill the enemy mage. Countering their moves is just a way to prolong an already long game. If you have a problem with them using a battle forge drop a wall or 2 by it. this is normally enough to stop them for a turn or two if they have to reposition themselves to use it. Fog bank is awesome!
