There's a lot to unveil! What would you like to hear more about?
-
How about...everything!
But in particular, how magic works. Why can mages only cast a particular spell a limited number of times per duel? How does mana get turned into a spell? Where does magic come from? What IS magic? Why do some people have channeling ability and not others? What determines whether you have channeling or not? Are you just born with it? Are there any ways for someone or something to gain channeling if they don't have it already?

perhaps it's allready somewhere... but I'd like to read a short history of etheria, to be able to place easily the nations and characters in space and time (the map allready helps, but some text would help).

A great idea. Let me put together something succinct that covers the highlights. No one wants to read a history book except for us Loremasters.

From Storm Drake Hide:
"I went through three apprentices trying to get the resistance right."
- Feveral, Lord of the Lightning Spires
My question is: who keeps supplying Feveral with new apprentices when he's clearly irresponsible with them? ???

Fereval the Grimm is an interesting character, and is featured on both [mwcard=FWQ10]Storm Drake Hide[/mwcard] and [mwcard=MW1E14]Enfeeble[/mwcard].
Here's the short story:
Fereval the Grimm, as he now calls himself, was once upheld as Lord of the Lightning Spires, a small collection of islands known for its iron-rich formations, between the islands of Lupuetra and the Windlass Brotherhood. He turned to the Dark arts and the Arraxian Crown after his holding was decimated to the man by a Windlass Brotherhood raid. Vowing vengeance, he turned his back on the Lightning Spires, and journeyed to Atticara in the Pellian City States to seek training from a Warlock known as “Master Rahel”. Since parting ways with Rahel, Fereval has made a name for himself by combining the power of the Air school of magic (in which he was formally trained during his youth) with the Dark arts.
Despite now being landless, Fereval maintains a royal bearing, and prefers the rich silks and velvets of the court to the dark and ominous accoutrements generally favored by his Warlock peers. Perhaps as a result of the events of Lighting Spires, he surrounds himself with an elite bodyguard, often referred to as “the Grimmguard”.

Whoa. I hadn't even noticed that the Feveral on Storm Drake Hide and Enfeeble were the same person! That the cards show the shift in his character is so neat! I suppose that even before he turned to the Arraxian Crown, his desire to make magical advancements exceeded his regard for innocent life. Writing background text for cards seems like such a cool job.

It is! It's challenging to capture all flavor, history and lore in a short little sentence or two, but definitely fun!
