Title: Wizard on guard and Suppression Cloak
Post by: Miyagi on April 12, 2013, 03:47:56 PM
Situation: Wizard has Suppression Cloak and has Guard marker.
Enemy creature ( e.g. Timber Wolf) that is in the same zone as Wizard is going to make an attack, but Beastmaster  doesn't have any mana.

What now ?

a) Timber Wolf may attack another creature in the zone;

b) Timber Wolf cannot attack any creature in that zone; ( TW must attack Wizard, but there is no mana in Beastmaster's mana pool).

B)  is correct.

It may not feel good to the Timber Wolf player, but the Wizard is going to be happy!

I am loving the pure deviousness (that is a word, right?) of the strategies in this game!

Yes, and I'm sure as a community we've just scratched the surface of deviousness.
