Title: Tanglevine is now a Vine
Post by: Wildhorn on November 28, 2013, 09:17:01 AM
I noticed that yesterday and could not find a mention of it on forums.

Previously (aka old cards) had Plant subtype. The cards in DvN has Plant and Vine subtype now.

Is there somewhere on the forum or a pdf downlaod with this kind of errata of cards (beside the temples/BF one)?

Indeed. I am just wondering if there are other cards that got this kind of addition through the different expansions. I think i read somewhere that a card received the Mana subtype but I cant recall which one.

In the FAQ

Moonglow Amulet now has the Mana Subtype.
Malacoda now has Poison Immunity and his special ability deals direct poison damage.

The FAQ includes some more updated wording for different cards, I would check it out. Then of course there are the Errata'd cards, Temple of Light, Hand of Bimshalla, and Battle Fury. Tanglevine is the only card to receive a change with an Expansion reprint (unless you count the Promo Galador, which received the Cervine Subtype when it was officially released).

Laddinfance, do you think that there is any possibility that AW will release an update pack? Like a small box of cards that has the correct/errata's and FAQ wording for cards released already?  I'd say there aren't quite enough yet, but since you'd need to cover off multiple of several, you're possibly getting close to 50 cards, so a half sized tomb.  People who need multiples would probably buy extra.

Its just getting hard to track all the exceptions and corrections.  As has been discussed in another thread, a corrections Codex is probably more useful than the FAQ.  The FAQ needs to be read in detail, the codex would say under Vine, state that x y and z are now vines despite not being named as such.

I have a couple ideas I want to discuss around the "office" about this. I know it's outside of our ability to print them as they sit right now. I'll look into this.
