Retailers are selling it? What area? I want to buy one! (i saw it available from a distributor, but one has to be a retailer to buy from them.)

When is the second one coming out?
-
Should be at distributors in early April or late March

this doesn't really answer the original poster. I've read the organized play page on the website and i'm still confused. it has storylines and scenarios to go with them. So is organized play a way to set up tournaments, or is it specific events based on the stories written.....or maybe some combination of the two?
-
It is store level events to get people playing MW.
I understand it is a half answer but it is the best answer I can give. It is up to the store top decide how they want the events to be run. At the stores I go to we do 90 min rounds Swiss promos got to the top 2 and 2 randoms.

ok that makes much more sense, thanks Shad0w!

OP Kit 2: Allegiance in Blood
The OP Kit Program is designed to foster and promote play experiences within the store settings. Kits are available to retailers who may purchase them through their distributors. This kit and all standard OP Kits going forward are intended to provide 9 weeks of story, challenges, and prizes to reward players. Kits will be released every two months. Players involved in the kits will have the option of making decisions regarding the future direction of the story in each cycle.
The current kit contains:
How to Teach Mage Wars Guide
Event Guide
Story Guide
Sign-Up Poster
Display Poster
36 Gold Stamped Promo Cards
This kit will be shipping to distributors on March 25th. Retailers should be able to get it shortly afterwards.

Are the promos in the kit just altered versions of cards in the retail sets? If there's anything I hate it's a game with promos you can't buy, so people who don't go to conventions or live near an event can't get them!
-
All promos will be released in future expansions.

All promos will be released in future expansions.
just to clearify: Those not already part of a retail set will be released in future expansion. For example the first OP Kit gave us Minor Heal and Dispel from the Core Set and Galador whom I expect to be in the Druid part of the next expansion.
