Ok so here's where we are with Origins. I can guarantee you as many matches as you want Friday as soon as I get done with my shift at the booth.

I asked St Louis if they wanna throw down Friday night. They say yeah then its tournament time with prize support Friday evening. Just waiting to hear back from them. I ordered a trophy for this event similar to what's seen at Gen Con. It's my trophy right now but I'll put it up for grabs at the tournament and see if anyone can take it from me

In terms of support from Arcane Wonders, I honestly haven't asked. I imagine some support can be hustled up one way or another.

What new promos?

Gotta say I'm with Red here man. Break up a couple then gargoyles for blue gremlins and put a gate in man trust me.

We can debate the pros and cons of the Paladin later. Suffice to say I don't see Ballista as being the end all be all.

So I don't think there's any doubt the Priestess remains competitive. The biggest challenge I see new players have with the mage is the balance between defense and offense. It's too easy to fall into a trap of just wanting to hide in a hole hoping your enemy is nice enough to kill themself. Especially as of late you need offense tactics like Crusade Griffins, Temple of Light, etc.

So a few things Mage Warriors. This book is very solid with a lot of surprises and options. That being said Obsidian Soul "came of age" shall we say fighting two fantastic swarm players so I can understand his concerns regarding creatures.

Now that being said you've been out of your meta for some time my friend and even we've adapted somewhat to a more global outlook. Our books are a little different. Then again there are global books and strategies I imagine have been influenced by us. I look forward to getting some matches with you this week for mutual gain.
