Thematically I like the idea of him guarding Gate to Hell. More often he'll probably end up guarding Idol of Pestilence, Deathlock, or Altar of Skulls. Possibly Ziggurat of Undeath. You are right though that this is odd in what are typically Aggro books, but diversity is the spice of life.

It's a shame he's Legendary. Could you imagine making him a Bloodreaper? With Bloodthirsty +2 he'd be at a 5 die attack with Piercing +1 and Triplestrike that also heals the Warlock. That would be kinda broken I guess...but still kinda neat to think about. Plus Legendary is thematic.

That....that's a REALLY big dog! I love mythology and seeing a famous icon show up is so awesome. I can't wait to run him!

It's all good. I'll do it when I wake up tomorrow. Too tired right now. You bring up good points though. Hopefully the Warlock still has a conjugation or two yet to come.

He would be a sick blood reaper lmao. A bit overpowered but awesome to think about.

I agree, it's awesome that they're incorporating some mythology into this. Greek mythology will always have a special place in my heart. I wonder if (and hope) that they'll incorporate more of it in the future.

As I told Zuberi, I'd like some Norse Mythology so the War School could get some Valkyries(I mean just look at how under represented War is in the next expansion...) But I'd also like some Japanese Tengu. I read that there is an Egyptian themed area of Etheria, be awesome to get some of Sobeks crocodiles.

With the addition of Conquest spell, every mage need a good conjuration guardian. This one is perfect for that role.

I'm pretty disappointed that none of the new demons have a Fire attack. Seems like at least one would with the new Warlock's ability...

Well, the new demon familiar has one.
And the already existing level 1, 3 and 6 demons have one. The new warlock has one too. You don't really  need more demon with fire attack. You need some normal attack too to get throu Flame Immune stuff.

Im not sure what to think of this creature.

Its horrible for offense, while insanly good at defending conjurations.

However...Last time i checked the Warlock didnt have time to stall games and be on the defense side.

Interesting its canine... perhaps if dark gets a lvl 1 or 2 canine it will be viable to play Dark canine deck with this bad boy, Goran and Red claw.

With the addition of the new demons, I think a "stalling" swarmy Warlock would be now a viable build.

With FiF, I noticed that AW are trying to make swarm builds alot more viable.
