Agreed. The Altar of Carnage will be a huge boost for the warlord's arsenal.
I care not how many minions I lose,
the Darkfenne always has more graves.

Holy crap shit batman!

This thing is amazing. It makes soldier swarm build so viable. The more you hit, the more you spawn.

I try :P

Just kidding, I wasn't actually sure if you were doing an article for it or anything since it was previewed by another site. If I'd known differently, I would have let you do it :)

Is the photo too big for the site? Every time I put it up here, it does it, but then disappears after a few minutes.

This +10. For those who felt like the Warlord needed help being a swarm mage, here is your go-to card.

I was just going post a link to this. So no problem.

As for the Altar, I think it's fantastic. It's always cool that you can have it charge up Barracks or Gurmash, very excited about this card.

This card is very nice, I have played with it several times. The conditions on it however keep it from being a slam dunk. If you go with Gurmash you can't put him on the front lines, or you have to carry two. There is of course Barracks but it caps out at three. And of course it can feed Battle Forge but that doesn't help with creatures (swarms), lastly there is Goblin Builder limited of course to Corporeal Conjurations.

My favorite so far is to use it to power Gurmash mid-game. That way he is throwing commands right and left. This even allows you to think about Akiro's Battle Cry in a large skirmisher type game.

On Barracks, isn't the limit of 3 only applied to its own channeling? Doesn't this bypass that? This isn't adding extra channeling to it, only placing a mana on it.

Barrack 3 mana limit is only from itsnown channeling.

Also, Goblin Builder is a Familiar, but since it doesnt have a channeling, can it gains mana via the Altar of Carnage?

I played it as a limit of three. As for Goblin Builder, the Altar says:

Says may be placed on a Spawnpoint or Familiar.

Seems like a neat card. Totally meant for swarms though since a few bigs will take forever to get your mana back from the initial investment. I would definitely put this card in the rear with the gear to avoid enemy attacks.

I have played mainly in the few-mids range, 3-4 creatures, if your creatures are attacking every round then it builds up quite quick. I ended one game with 13 mana on Gurmash. My favorite is to use Walls of Earth and a [mwcard=FWJ02]Archer's Watchtower [/mwcard] and I can't say or [mwcard=FWC07]Grimson Deadeye, Sniper [/mwcard].

TELL ME ABOUT "I can't say"!!!

Is it a bunker? Giving +1 Armor and Doublestrike to ranged? :D
