i didn't listen until the end yesterday...had to go to sleep here in Europe..but did anyone ask about those supberb game mats Intangible and coshade played on for Academy ? Will these be available for purchase somewhere in the near future ? off course this supposes that i can get academy first...

Real "Mage" expansions (not side projects like academy and battlegrounds) take quite a long time to get to the players, and even now we are waiting for ages for paladin versus siren...All the time Mage Wars could have grown and gained revenue on the sale of new expansions, gamers had to turn to other games to spend their money on...I myself started playing Android Netrunner and started to enjoy it quite a lot...
I get so excited for the next datapack to come out and to buy every other month..and i think is a missed opportunity for Mage Wars products...
But be certain...my heart will stay with Mage Wars , no matter what happens !
I know that we have mentioned our plans for the future in general a few times in the last year. However, I know that often this information ends up scattered to the four winds. So, I totally understand if most people haven't seen it.
So, I'll outline the base of the current plan right now. Paladin vs. Siren is the paramount priority right now. For me personally this set consumes my focus. This is easily the most important thing I'm working on. It's particularly exciting to me, and I'm hoping that when we're able to show off this set, you'll all be excited with it. That said, there is still a pretty healthy amount of work left on this set and so I'm sure cards and mechanics could change.
After PVS, we had planned to do another spell tome, like Forged in Fire. This one would cover the male Forcemaster and the female Wizard. Now, I haven't been shy about what I'd love to do with the Forcemaster in that set, but obviously none of that is set in stone. Right now we've been talking about switching this set with the next item on the list here.
Then, we have the next Mage vs. Mage set. We have several possible Mages for this set. Personally I'm hoping for the "Barbarian". Now for his opponent they're all good options and it just depends on if we move this set forward or not. Now I'm not going to spoil these Mages quite yet, but I'm excited about them as well. Right now, whenever I come up with an idea for one of them I tend to build the card and then file it away, and get back to work on PVS.
Those are the most important projects coming up for Mage Wars, because we want to get on a solid release schedule and frankly all of you deserve solid content. You've been very patient with us and so you should be rewarded with excellent content.
So outside of these projects, we still have the Archmage in the pipeline. Also, Bryan has plans for future Battlegrounds sets as well as an RPG eventually. Bryan poured 5 years of development into Mage Wars before its release and so He's devoted to making sure the game gets plenty of support and continues on for many many years to come.
For me, the core Mage Wars product is my focus. As I've said I feel you all deserve some pretty awesome expansions and I'm hoping I can provide them to you.

Now i really have to admit you've got me excited Ladd !!! Next week we're gathering with a couple of mages from the Mage Wars Belgium Facebook page for our fourth Mage Wars "Meet up"..and i can't wait to tell them about all this good stuff that is coming our way !!! We will be playing arena for a couple of matches, and afterwards we will be playing our first 2v2 battlegrounds match..i'm so looking forward to that !!!

« on: December 03, 2015, 05:58:25 AM »I personally would just love to see the action markers in octgn a bit more colored at the edge when flipped to the white star side. Kind of hard to see whats going on when just watching on a small display.
i agree on the action markers ! I even find it difficult to step into a game that i didn't start viewing from the beginning and i have to determine who's playing with which mage...the colors on the action markers should stand out more and the background of the players' stats and names should match with these colors...
on the other side : i just love the fact that i can test my spellbooks on OCTGN even if i don't have any opponents IRL...
We're trying to start up a Mage Wars community through facebook here in Belgium, but we're still a very small group..but we're truly fanatics !!! Halewijn's the champ !

my main request is still the reference / ability card of the mages which is not available...quite basic and necessary i would say !!!

Spellbook Design and Construction / First build of an Adramalech for Domination

Hey guys,
i've finally managed to get my hands on a copy of BG Domination this weekend here in Belgium. And i'm so looking forward to try it out !!! My gamebuddy also owns a copy and we're gonna meet somewhere soon. Since i've never played the adramalech warlock (i mainly play Druid , Warlord, Necro and FM)..i thought to give it a shot and especially prepare her for Domination !
here's the book :
my idea was to first cast Sersiryx and to use it as of round 2 to attack a sslack with a flameblast. Afterwards i would try to cast galaxxus, next to the zone where the sslak used to be, and to start gaining V'tar from both the galaxxus and the closest orb i would control by now. After that phase i would try to get to the opposing mage, to keep him from winning v'tar - the idea was to that by opening a V'Torrak gate...and to let all the demons get to him !
The ghoul is there to get fast to the orbs, the imps to teleport to the orbs...
i'm just not sure about the include of the Battleforge or the Pentagram..so i left them both in...mainly to have the choice while the game develops...could be that i have to equip my mage, could be that i need the mana to start casting those demons !!!

I was thinking maybe a personalised mat for each mage would be even more awesome.

You guys are the best marketing /publicity for Mage Wars, and Arcane Wonders should reward you much more for this !!! second : lordofwinter with his blog, and third Schwenkgott for being the OCTGN master tactitian !
i've been watching your channel since the beginning, and every day i'm checking if you guys have posted new material...so now please..start posting those matches !!!!
...i'm also counting the days to see Academy and Domination appear in our European Shops...

I'm gonna take all of your precious advice and start rebuilding...hope i can find the time to test this on OCTGN this weekend !
I guess i will be throwing out shift enchantment, steal equipment, mongoose, the orb and force wave...to replace with acid ball, dissolve and dispels/seeking dispel..although i would really like to try out an enchantment transfusion some time..never used this spell before...
i'm gonna hold on to my mage wand to save on copies of teleport like you said.
oh and coshade, i hope you will be making some videos with that new copy of domination you got recently !
I will have to wait until September or October to buy a copy...over here in Europe..

Wooow..i' suddenly had a vision of a board filled with vines and trees..and pods exploding everywhere...this post boosted my imagination to revis my current druid build...
