As I said, I don't really know how Faraday Cages work. Forks are metal. If metal inherently protects you from electricity, then sticking a fork in a light socket should be perfectly safe. It is not. Therefore, metal does not inherently protect you from electricity.

The difference here is where the metal is located. Sticking a fork in a light socket creates a highly conductive bridge between you and the power in the socket, and that power wants to reach the ground. It travels through the fork and then into you to reach the ground as your body provides the only bridge past the fork.

If you were to wear a suit of armor, including gauntlet, and then stick a fork in the light socket, the charge would travel along the outside of the armor into the ground, leaving your body alone.

Spellbook Builder / Re: Export that's readable by humans?

A nicely formatted PDF, something that looks like the forum post version would be very handy. It doesn't need to be extravagant, just sorted and readable.

Spellbook Builder / Export that's readable by humans?
« on: May 09, 2014, 01:10:09 PM »
Maybe it's just me, but none of the export options are usable except the forum code one, and then only if I put it into a forum post.

Is there plans to make some sort of export option that I could actually print out and read? There's a list builder online that makes wonderful PDFs, but hasn't been updated since Forcemaster vs Warlord.

General Discussion / Re: Druid vs Necro Spoilers
« on: October 31, 2013, 04:59:55 PM »
Mage Wars posted a link to an unboxing video on their Facebook page. I'm gonna write down all the new cards I see in the video here.
Viewship Staff
7 mana, Equipment, One-handed, 0-2, targets Mage, Nature level 2, Vine subtype. Druid Only.
Quick attack, melee, 4 dice, Reach.
As a quick spell, you may spend 1 mana to place a Vine marker in a target zone up to 1 zone away. Once per round, as a quick spell, you may pay 4 mana and destroy a target friendly Vine marker up to 2 zones away to give a target non-Flying creature in that zone the Stuck condition.

Yeah, he said "Viewship" Staff, whatever the heck that is. The card clearly says "Vinewhip" Staff.

I use Fantasy Flight Supply colored sleeves. They fit perfectly in the binder and the five different colors help me to keep my various decks apart on the field.

Wait, a Mana Crystal (or Flower for that matter) is zone exclusive, but a whole Wizard's Tower isn't? I call shenanigans!

Well, I guess we'd best just keep buying then.  ;)

Well, the Druid and Necromancer are due out later this year. I don't think anyone has come right out and said "more will follow" but I see no reason why they wouldn't keep making more mages as long as we keep playing the game.

It is a very powerful spell, and I like to save it for late game when Dispels and what not have likely been used to get rid of my Charms and Mind Control, etc. At that point, it's usually a game ender unless my opponent has a massive creature advantage.

Cool. That totally alleviates all my worries. Sorry for hijacking the thread.  B)

All promos will be released in a future set. They may have different artwork though.

Is this confirmed somewhere? If so, that's great.

All Magic promos are just alternate art and/or foiled, but some of the stuff I'm seeing as promos for this game are major boons to their respective schools.

Let's hope so... I love this game because it's like a tactical version of Magic without having to worry about chase rares, and now I find out about these obscure promo cards and that's even worse.

It took me some searching to figure out what Gravikor was, and now I have to know, where the heck do I get those? As near as I can tell, they're not in any set.
