Check out the Let's Level Up podcast. They do a "Mage Wars Mondays" series with Arcane Wonders employees. It's definitely worth checking out.

I would definitely be interested in some casual games. I rarely get the chance to play Mage Wars so this sounds like a perfect opportunity to get my fix.

The Games Keep has indeed moved to a new and much improved location. The store now has a huge space dedicated to playing games. The two stores are both about an hour away from me but I would definitely prefer to meet up at The Games Keep to include as many people as possible. Does this location work for your group rant?
As for dates, I am fairly certain I can make any Sunday in November except for Nov 2nd.

@Kich - I'm looking at possibly being in Lancaster the weekend of the 31st if you think you may be free that Sun.
Wish I could make it there tonight. Unfortunately life is not going to allow it.
Please let me know if there are any other times you can get together. I would love to meet up somewhere and play!

« on: April 11, 2014, 03:26:58 PM »I find myself using battle forge more and more. There is a lot of good equipment, for any mage really, and it frees up some casting actions. My FM rocks a first turn forge every time.
Where do you put it... NC? Doesn't anything farther away let the opposing mage sit in his start corner without you harassing him? If the BF is in NC, then everyone should be packing a couple of Surging Waves to kill it on turn two.
If your opponent is spending a turn hitting your Battle Forge and not worrying about your Forcemaster I think that puts you in a very good position. Plus, a pair of Surging Waves costs 10 mana and two actions so the Forcemaster still comes out ahead in terms of mana & actions spent.

I definitely plan on having another tournament. Hopefully I can put something together for May.
