I get 121 total points, counting the novice spells (there are only two, decoy and leather boots) and with air as the default elemental school.
to break it down by category, this is what I am getting:
Equipment: 12
Conjurations: 7
Creatures: 22
Enchantments: 30
Incantations: 34
Attacks: 16
total: 121
I checked it twice and took my time.
spells in schools other than Arcane or Air cost double the printed level, I took note that I only have to choose one of the elements for the Elemental Wand, and for the Turn to Stone enchantment I have to use both Arcane and Earth (which will cost double) for a total cost of 4 in this instance.
Where am I going wrong?

You seem to be correct, theduke850. I checked the math too, it adds up to 121.

I could explain to you how these books were built but I think I will just hint at it. It involved a night out with Bryan and adult beverages. :silly:

 With you guys, I'm not surprised then on how the Wizard was put together. Playing with the starter set multiples times almost screams "This Wizard is going to be a challenge, and has the potential to troll the other three starter sets something fierce. Provided you can get passed the 'not-having-a-spawn-point' thing."

All I know is the lists you see was made way back. When we got the demo kit way back in Nov / Dec these were the prebuilt lists that they gave us. I was not even part of that night out with Bryan and I still heard about it.

Oh wow! Ha ha that must have been some night out!

So what exactly were you guys smoking when you thought up the concept for the Decoy artwork? A trippy looking puffer fish ghost thing? Must have required a prescription of some kind.

I LOVE THE DECOY ARTWORK :-)
Stay tuned guys, we have all new improved amazing pre-built spellbook lists coming at you (today I think).

I have already altered the Wizard starting deck by removing Turn to Stone and adding Staff of the Arcanum and a second copy of Teleport Trap. But I look forward to seeing what you guys have come up with.

Leather boots is a novice spell so costs only one.
-
yes, it is.
-
Novice spells never cost extra even if its not a school the mage is trained in....I get 120 for all.

Yep, there are 3 novice spells. I missed one in my first count before a re-build.
