Paladin Idee.
Turn 1 19 Mana
-5 Mana Crystal, -4 Mana Meditating Monk = 10 Mana left
Turn 2 20 Mana
+1 From the Monk, -2/-10 Divine Intervention, -7 Mana Crusader Banner = 2 Mana left
Turn 3 12 Mana
+2 from Crusader Banner Deploy -5 Ehren, Enduring Paldin and -6 Broken Wing Angel (Heal Ehren)= 3 Mana left
+1 from the Monk, -1 Martyr´s Restoration (Heal Ehren) and -3 Rouse the Beast (Ehren) = 0 Mana left
What do you think of vampirism for the paladin, i know 6 SBP is much but to reroll the Dice on challenged Creatures is powerful healing possibility

It seems like he's transporting the Paladin across the arena into to opposing mage's zone.
That broken wing angel better roll at least two healing, otherwise this plan goes up in smoke ;)

I have also seen a play where you cast Alandell T1 and put DI on him, T2 you DI him and have him clobber something for 5 dice while the paladin runs 2, then from T3 on you pump alandell by 4 dice and support him with the paladin. I tend to prefer the gear up and march to the fight approach, myself, but it does look like a fun thing to try once or twice.

If you dont heal 2 Damage Withe the Angel ...
You dont cast Martyr´s Restoration and Rouse the Beast Turn 3, inseid you attack safe 4 mana. Next turn you cast heal roll 8 dice or use Lay Hands 12 dice if you fear your have bad luck.
If your Oponent summons a big creatur you can cast Chant of Rage and use the hate token on the Monk.
It is not an opening that you can do every time and it depends on what your opponent does in the first round.
The paladin wants to attack and be in Action!

Is Pillar of Righteous Flames The most valuable card of the PvS set?
I think it's an awesome card. It's the new vine wall without the negative drawbacks of the push spells mana increase. It can buy you time and do some serious damage. It does not have a specific counter once it's played once its on the field. Only way around it is run away/avoid it until it disappears or go all out for the kill attacking the Mage.
It is cool to see some more holy school spells being a stample in other books I just wonder what kind of book this spell does not help? It seems like everyone should be running one.
It's cool to hear it's being used in dark school books as well.

here is a book i built after Puddnhead threw up the idea of turn one meditation amulet then meditate. I immediately thought the crusade banner would be perfect. so here is the opening
turn one: QC meditation amulet + meditate
turn two: QC crusade banner + meditate
turn three: drop alandell and Artemis off of crusade banner + full cast dawnbreakers initiate + no QC
turn four: meditate + QC temple of asyra - pray with artemis and dawnbreakers initiate
then start deploying light of dawns like a factory
could also run alfyia in this so ill probably test a version like that
this is version one of the book so feedback is appreciated :)
