Mort's Ability

So the Skeleton Knight Mort has an ability that says each upkeep, reconstruct 2 damage from each skeleton object in or bordering Mort's zone.

So my question is on the word 'border'. Does this mean:

1. Mort's zone and the 4 orthogonally surrounding it

or

2. Mort's zone and any skeleton walls (aka Wall of Bone) around his zone, which would be bordering it

It references the literal zone border. So, Mort reconstructs all skeletons in his zone, and all walls that border it.

Mort is amazing- couple him with Unholy Resurgence and them skeletons just wont die. Not to mention that tainted chance- Mort is a beast.

(Got my butt handed to me last night by the necro and a skeleton swarm...tainted markers.....tainted markers everywhere)
