Mort and Brogan
« on: March 18, 2014, 01:03:17 AM »
Given that when it comes to skeletons the Necromancer likes to just recycle the forces of Westlock you can cast as a Priestess/Priest has anyone else given any thought as to whether or not Mort might have some connection to Brogan Bloodstone? Both are the respected champions of their respective alliances after all. Maybe he was Brogans father in life?

The fact that Mort "lost his true name to time" makes me think he is significantly more ancient than Brogan's father would be. I like the idea that the two may be connected in story somehow though.

It is mentioned that Brogan uses an enchanted sword, and Mort's sword looks very similar. Perhaps there could be a connection there. Or they could be connected by some kind of prophecy. There could also be a more distant blood relation than father or son.

Or Mort used to be Westlock's champion like Brogan is now and an enchanted sword may be awarded to such champions as a sign of their status. As a result, there may be no blood relation between them at all. :)

Yeah that's a good theory as well. Very possible.
