Title: Mages subtype.
Post by: Aschab on April 03, 2014, 07:55:26 PM: So mages are creatures, with a subtype specified on the card. But do their schools have any influence? Its a fire wizard a fire creature? Or the warlock a dark creature?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I'd like a confirmation.

I'm not. No matter how much one prays to the Dice Gods, the Dice Gods will not grant you a banana sticker, for it was not your own voice that cleared the fog of confusion from the minds of the newbielievers, but the voice of the Dice Gods' chosen Acolyte. Calling upon the Acolyte of the Dice Gods to aid you in times of need is just and noble, but to ask them to reward you merely for praying to them to send their Acolyte to you is arrogance. Who are you to ask for such a boon from the mighty Dice Gods if you have not earned it?
