Title: average die roll?

Someone good at math...  Can you tell me what the average die roll is on a mage wars dice?  Thanks.

Against 0 armor an average roll is 1.

Factoring in Armor changes the math quite a bit.

Average roll is 1 and half of them will be critical.

In other words, average is 0.5 normal and 0.5 critical - you can multiple this by number of dices to get average damage.

In example, you will get average 2 normal and 2 critical with 4 dices.

Like HeatStryke said the most important thing is if the creature has armor or not.
BTW Heat is part of my play-test team and he came up with a spread sheet that can crunch the numbers. I think currently it does from 0-10 armor 1-12 dice at 25k rolls.
