It should at least be logicwise. Once per round the beastmaster can cast a difficult spell with ease. But jinx activates when one of these effortless spells is cast, right?

I don't see the card text before me but generally: If the Pillars's attack needs to target a creature, then the Stalker will not get hit since he can't be targeted.

I like the Dwarf with a Double Spawnpoint Strategy.

R1 with Forge and Construction Yard
R2 Meditate (from Forge) and Barracks
R3 Slinger (from Barracks), Signet Ring, Meditate, Garrison Outpost
R4 --> Dwarf has a total mana generation of 18 with 2 additional spawnpoints. With the forge, you should be able to defend yourself with Armor and via deployment of walls (discount from yard) until your opponent is overwhelmed by your eco.

Why would a tournament not allow Eye for an Eye? The card has been tested and is perfectly fine not only in Academy but also in the Arena. While looking strong on the first impression the card also has weakpoints (f.e. you habe to save mana, you get a huge amount of damage too, etc.). Sure, it has become more dangerous to go for the big hitters when facing a holy mage, but that is life in Etheria right? Since there are plenty more dangerous situations to overcome, what difference does it make?

If you want to do an Errata or balance something inofficially, you should walk on a path that is understandable for everyone and solves the issue at the same time.

We thought about this Disciple-problem for several weeks now, some ideas came into the closer selection. Of of them had to be picked and since it's the tournament of Coshade and his Arcane Duels buddies, he is the right one to make that choice.

I think he made a good one. After the tournament we will see if that was enough or even more would have been nessecary.

Why harmonize a banner?

If there are 4 groups of players with 2 advancing to the final round, you have a total number of 8 players playing elimination matches. So without a losers bracket, you would have to play 3-4 games in group stage (depending on how much people are in your group) and up to 3 matches in the final round.

We won't check the cards from your deck. It is not necessary, because you cannot load decks that aren't validated by the deckbuilder AND because all cards currently available on Octgn are allowed for the tournament). That also means you could totally run the same druid book twice without making any changes.

Rules Discussion / Re: Comprehensive Enchantment Transfusion Clarification

Great overview. Finally we all can understand how this works :)

But one thing I am not so sure about:

Furthermore, if you, after the first strike of a doublestrike, move any enchantments away with ET and then back to the same creature with another ET, then it may receive the bonuses again on the second attack.

This does not sound very realistic to me. A creature can only benefit from Cards like Bear Strength once per attack action. F.e. you can reveal the card for the first strike of an double strike attack or wait for the second strike. But receiving the bonus and then moving the card two times does not allow you to use the bonus once again in the same attack action.

when you play the anvil thone warlord, you are able to use the cantrip rune on an equipment piece. that rune has "please use me with a wand" printed on it. so my proposal is the mage wand and - if you wand to be flexible with attack spells - an elemental wand too. you can save some points for dispel cards that way.

- 16 pieces of Equipment and no Battle Forge? You will have a hard time equipping that stuff manually.

- only 2 Removal spells for each equipment and enchantment. How do you want to deal with curses from a Warlock or a full buffed melee mage?

- if you face an aggressive mage you will be in a world of trouble, because you need 3-4 rounds to fire up your engines.

I would not say that anymore. With PvS released and the recent Wizard change, a new tournament would be very interesting to see, what mages players choose now over others.

But that tournament has to wait a bit until Octgn has seen some bugfixing (or feature removing?)

3 Nightshade Lotus are a bit overkill in my eyes. You lose important spellbook points and have not enough to bring in more Dispels/Dissolves.
Without these spells you will face a world of trouble against heavy armored mages.
Another problem could be zone attacks. A Death zone full of plants is a huge threat ... or a great opportunity for your opponent to hit hard where it hurts most. Think about using Fortified Position.
